Ready or not...
Well, I am sitting at work on Wednesday morning at 9:36 A.M. I have nothing to do today....I would rather be getting on a plane NOW to come to Lubbock! I was so keyed up last night I had a hard time falling asleep. Jayson and I watched 2 episodes of Scrubs. Normally I start falling asleep at the end of the second episode, but NOT LAST NIGHT. I'm so excited! Jayson just called--he is going to pick up his camera from Best Buy. The flash on his camera is malfunctioning. Good thing we have a warranty on it. So it was fixed for free. We have to have a camera on our trip! He is also going to stop our mail...basically through the end of July! I called my mom at 8 this morning and they were already in Memphis. Daddy must be bookin' it. At this rate, they may end up in Lubbock tonight! We printed our boarding passes last night...we got A's....yessssssssss! A guy from my mom's work is taking us to the airport this afternoon at 2:00. Our flight leaves Nashville at 5:30. That means we will have to sit in the airport for a while. I think we will eat out there and just take our time getting to the gate. Our flight from Dallas leaves at 9:20. So I guess that will be a short flight. Oh, Grandma just called. There is NOTHING like having to yell on the phone to your Grandma while you are at work. She is so cute! She said "I just feel so bad for your family having to be on the road driving all that way." I told her I was at work for the morning and she felt guilty for calling me. POOR THING! She will worry until my parents get to Lubbock. I'm excited for Jayson on his first trip to Lubbock! WOOHOO! He has been asking me ALL kinds of questions. I told him it is non stop partying action from sun up till sun down. :-) He wants to play basketball with Casey! LOL. How cute is my husband? Ok, I need to pretend to be busy! I will see y'all TODAY! I like how I am just talking to you Texas girls on here...you're the only ones that read this anyway!

I'm baaaaack!
I'm actually posting! Yay! I'll try to fill you in on our busy month and a half since I posted. Adam came in town for leave. It was great to see him. He is back with Savannah, his high school sweetheart. I think marriage is in the future for them. AIEE. Adam---married?! I celebrated my 25th birthday. So depressing to think I'm halfway to 50. Jay Jay took me to The Cheesecake Factory. yum. Jayson's parents came into town on June 1st. We took them to Dollywood. We had so much fun! It's hilarious to see them down here, because they aren't used to southern culture. We took them to Logan's one night to eat and his mom just couldn't throw the peanut shells on the floor. I love it. Two days after they left, Jayson's sister Alex came to visit us. We took her to the zoo, downtown, Opry Mills...the usual tourist stuff. We also watched ALL of seasons 1 & 2 of Grey's Anatomy while she was here. LOL. She gave me a cute haircut while she was here. It's so nice to have a hairdresser in the family! I finished up my last Master's class of the summer this past Saturday. It just about kicked my butt. I'm glad that's over with. I am almost at the halfway point of the program. This weekend Jayson and I are going to Atlanta for our one year anniversary! Can y'all believe it's been a year? I can sooo remember what I was feeling like this time last year. I remember Sherilyn shoving Shaklee down my throat on the way to the rehearsal. :-) And Shonda forgetting her wallet at the house...Brynne getting a pedicure...Steve walking in the food court of the mall. It was all so fun! I am so lucky to have a great hubby. Seriously. He worked for my mom's office this past weekend and took the money he made to buy us a GPS for our Atlanta trip. I love that thing. I named the woman Susan that talks to us. She gets mad at us when we speed or if we go the wrong way. It's like she's a part of our family! Anyway, in Atlanta we are going to the HUGE Georgia Aquarium, we're going to a Braves game, maybe the Coke museum, and definitely IKEA on Sunday. That is what I am most excited about! When we get back, we just have a few more weeks till we come to Lubbock! WOOHOO! We are flying, but my parents and Jessi are driving because they aren't cool like us. We will get there late Wednesday night and they will arrive sometime Thursday midday. We'll all leave to come home on Tuesday. Then a few days after that Jayson and I leave for Massachusetts. I love traveling! I can't wait. So my parents got a wii----did everyone know that? My mom bought my dad a hunting game for Father's Day. We found an XM radio on sale so we got him that. Now he can listen to all the sports games he wants in the car. I'm sure my mama will love that. Well, I have rambled on long enough. I'm going to do better about posting---I promise!

House Hunting, Ted Dekker, and XM radio
This weekend was great! I took off of work an hour early on Friday and Jayson and I went house hunting. This is becoming a weekly occurance! Didn't really see anything we liked on Friday. We ate dinner at Chilis and came home. He played his new baseball game on the wii and then we watched several episodes of the office. Saturday morning I thought I was going to have to go into work to work at graduation since we were all sure it was going to rain...but it didn't! So we slept in and ran around shopping all day Saturday. I got my birthday present from my hubby early....XM RADIO for my car! WOOHOO! I absolutely love it. We sat in the car so much this weekend just so we could listen to it! My favorite station is the one that plays all 90's music. He can also listen to ALL the red sox games on it. Saturday night we watched 27 Dresses. LOVED IT. May be on my list of favorites now. Sunday we went to church....and Shonda, guess who was sitting 2 rows in front of us? TED DEKKER! Jayson flipped out. He was very "LA, edgy" looking. I think he's ADD. He couldn't sit still the whole service. Of course, who am I to talk? Jay wanted to say aomething to him, but felt weird because it was church and all. His daughter goes to the school here, so we figure they were in town to help move her back home for the summer. We went to my parents' house for lunch and then house hunted some more. We are such dorks! I love it! We squeezed one more episode of The Office in before we headed to Grandma's. Adam was supposed to be there but he missed his connecting flight in Dallas...so he didn't get back in town until late last night. So Grandma and Jayson have this routine every Sunday night...it's so cute I have to share it. Grandma barely eats anything, but of course she makes sure everyone else does. She is always on Jayson to eat a Little Debbie before he leaves...she knows he's on a diet! So, he goes and gets her a fig bar every time we are there and she will eat it only because he gives it to her. She loves Jayson. Last night he forgot to do it and as we were walking out the door she mumbled to my mom "Well, I guess he forgot." You better believe Jayson ran back in the house to get her her cake. She shook her finger at him. It's so cute! Well, I guess I should go. Update, everyone!

2 weeks...I'm getting depressed already.
Sigh. I will turn 25 in a little over 2 weeks. It makes me feel like such an old woman! In honor of my 25th birthday, I'm gonna list 25 things I've been up to lately, starting with the weekend. Just for fun. Buckle in...I am a wild party animal.
1. Played Wii with my hubby. I've lost my touch with bowling. What happened?!
2. Watched a whole season of The Office. I swore I would NEVER get into that show, but now I am hooked. I love Jim and Pam!
3. Ate at Cracker Barrel. Jayson and I can eat there for $17, which is pretty cheap. I got chicken tenders, a side salad, and hashbrown casserole. MMMMM.
4. Walked around the campus of TSU feeling completely lost and nervous. I had NO idea where to go and it was raining and I was wearing flip flops!
5. Took the Praxis II Content Knowledge exam. It's required for us folks who want to be teachers. 3 nuns took the test with me. LOL.
6. Went house hunting. I love to dream! It's really depressing when EVERYONE on our floor is moving out but us!
7. Went to Walmart to get groceries. Enough said.
8. Watched Little People Big World. Jayson is behind on that show, so we're trying to get him caught up. We watched the one where they went to Vegas.
9. Went to church @ TCC.
10. Went to Longhorn for lunch with my parents. FREE FOOD! WOOHOO!
11. Came back to the apartment and watched about 9 episodes of The Office instead of working out.
12. Went to Uncle Paul's for dinner. Adam is huge AND he has a girlfriend already. Stacey was there...but no baby!
13. Watched Rob and Big as a family in Uncle Paul's living room. LOL. They seem to think that Rob is just like Adam. hahahaha.
14. Watched more episodes of The Office.
15. Started a work week. I work from 9:30-6:00 on Mondays and Tuesdays. That kind of stinks. I like the extra sleep, but I don't like being here so late!
16. Planned a Bridal Shower for one of our student workers. Her colors are red and black--how fun is that?!
17. Went shopping for the gift for the bridal shower. We're getting her a hand mixer and a huge basket of baking supplies that she registered for. I also got her a few baking mixes, frosting, and sprinkles to go along with it.
18. Jayson cooked dinner for me! He did ranch and herb shake and bake chicken, baked potato, and peas. He's so good!
19. Played more wii, watched more Little People Big World and The Office. NERDS.
20. Watched Jayson's weigh in this morning. He lost over a pound again this week!
22. Jayson made me pancakes for breakfast! Is he a doll or what?!
23. Watched another couple move out this morning and got depressed wishing that was us!!!
24. Came to work and checked my email.
25. Bought Jayson a diet coke and sent him on his way to his final.
Yes, I am extremely cool and I realize this. My life is CRAZY!

What day is today?
Today is Administrative Professionals day! woohoo! The Administration in my office has decided to stretch out the fun of this day into a week-long party. Monday morning they brought breakfast in for us (there are 3 other secretaries in my office). Yesterday one of the guys in the office made us all hilarious personalized cards. My card had FRIENDS quotes all over it. Today the university held a luncheon for all the "administrative professionals" on campus. It was nice to get away for a while and get a $10 gift certificate to the bookstore on campus. But, the food was random. Roast beef, turnip greens, mexican corn, potatoes, and cauliflower. LOL. The "big dog" in my office gave us all candy. And we just got an email from our supervisor letting us know that we get the afternoon off! WOOHOO! So I am out of here at 2:30. Jayson has class at 3, which stinks. I'll just spend the afternoon cleaning and doing whatever I want! Who knows what we will get tomorrow and Friday for this week of fun! Adam is in town...I haven't talked to him yet. I will have to call him this evening. Well, i have some stuff to finish before I leave for the day, so I will close. Here is a pic of my office. We went to a community college a couple of weeks ago and made hot dogs for the students.
